Our Promise To You
Because We Love Everyone And Everything On The Earth
We're a small, family owned business dedicated to honoring the planet and her people by producing in the USA with only sustainable materials. We produce clothing in small batches with limited inventory to reduce waste, employ independent women artists and creatives, and vow to be as transparent as possible in all our processes.
We strongly believe plastics and forever chemicals that coat polyesters and nylons for wrinkle and stain resistance do not belong on our bodies, and are harming us in ways unseen at the moment. Our clothing is made from 92% plant-based materials- Lenzing certified lyocell tencel and 8% spandex. Spring of 2025 we will be phasing in a plant-based spandex!
Our main line is made from Lenzing certified tencel lyocell. We call it forest fiber, and it is a tree pulp fiber grown specifically on sustainable tree farms. Our forest fiber is vastly different from traditional bamboo, viscose, or rayon because it only requires one organic and non-toxic compound in a closed loop (never dumped, always reused), called NMMO (google it!) to process it, and it is guaranteed to not be harvested from old growth trees.
We are so proud to say Purusha clothing is made from start to finish in Los Angeles, CA. We’re knit, cut, and sewn in small family owned shops, dyed in a responsible dye house dedicated to low impact dyes, and screen printed in a clean and safe print shop with water-based ink. All people are paid at least minimum wage ($18/hr) and we abide by the stringent workplace and environmental laws of California.

- ALAllie L.Verified BuyerI recommend this productRated 5 out of 5 starsJan 31, 2021Why aren’t all of my clothes like this? I don’t want to take them off!
Wow! These bells are luxurious and so comfy! Beautiful color, design and super flattering fit. The double layer is very cozy. I was slightly worried they might be tight because of this and I was ready for them to be a little too long (I’m 5’2) - they are PERFECT, they still have a bit of stretch and the length is totally manageable.
I usually thrift and only rarely get to treat myself to some new handmade goodness. So they were a splurge and I am over the moon about them! I’ve been admiring Hayley’s creations for awhile and they more than live up to my expectations.
Thank you so much for creating beautiful, flattering, unique, conscious and well made clothing that feels awesome! Can’t wait for my next piece!
