Our Promise To You
Because We Love Everyone And Everything On The Earth

Each piece is ethically made in the USA, sewn in small batches by skilled workers earning fair wages. We prioritize safe, respectful working conditions and local production to ensure every garment reflects the values we stand for- quality, integrity, and care.

Our clothing is free from polyester and traditional petroleum-based synthetics. We use plant-based TENCEL™ and a small amount of Creora® bio-based spandex for stretch- derived in part from renewable resources, but not yet fully plastic free and biodegradable. It's a step toward cleaner, safer clothing for your skin and the planet.

We use plant-based fabrics like TENCEL™ lyocell, ECOVERO™ viscose, and organic cotton, blended with Creora® bio-based spandex for gentle stretch. While the spandex still contains some petroleum, it’s partially derived from renewable sources—making it a better option than traditional synthetics. The result: soft, breathable, lower-impact clothing that feels as good as it is.

Making our clothing in the USA—especially in California—means higher standards across the board. Strict environmental regulations, fair labor laws, and safe working conditions ensure that every piece is made responsibly. It also reduces the carbon footprint of overseas shipping and supports local communities. When you choose USA-made, you’re choosing quality, ethics, and a cleaner planet.

These pants have become my favorite pant style from Purusha People. I love how comfortable the big legs are, yet fit snug around my ankles and waste. It’s a great option when you don’t want to wear anything tight on your legs. The color is very beautiful and perfect for winter. I’m very happy.

I like these pants a lot - I have 4 pairs. They are so comfortable and versatile. They’re just professional enough for my practice as a bodyworker, but also can be casual. They’re flattering enough, given how versatile they are, but not ideal. I find them to bubble out in a way that I don’t like around my hips, and I don’t like how pleated they are. A simpler cut with less fabric would be way preferable for me. Regardless, I keep buying from this company because the clothes are great. The fabric feels good and the colors and designs are cute, and they’re durable and hold shape well. I recommend anything from PP, but would love to see a slight modification on these genie pants.
