The plants have turned brown, the sky is gray. But the snow, the snow is white. And the evergreens are greener than ever against the blazing winter sunsets and snow capped trees. When the obvious beauty is stripped away, I notice the more simple and subtle beauties. In the winter we have to dig a little deeper for the warmth and the light. It's always there, we just need to open our awareness to see it.
These evergreen sets are dedicated to the trees that stay forever green, as my son Shep says. Every year he mourns our beloved marigolds cracking into shriveled brown stalks of dead matter; but when I remind him the evergreens are the same, he feels like he can handle 6 months without flowers. We can too. The flowers are biding their time, warm in the earth, waiting to always return.

Our Promise To You
Because We Love Everyone And Everything On The Earth

We're a small, family owned business dedicated to honoring the planet and her people by producing in the USA with only sustainable materials. We produce clothing in small batches with limited inventory to reduce waste, employ independent women artists and creatives, and vow to be as transparent as possible in all our processes.

We strongly believe plastics and forever chemicals that coat polyesters and nylons for wrinkle and stain resistance do not belong on our bodies, and are harming us in ways unseen at the moment. Our clothing is made from 92% plant-based materials- Lenzing certified lyocell tencel and 8% spandex. Spring of 2025 we will be phasing in a plant-based spandex!

Our main line is made from Lenzing certified tencel lyocell. We call it forest fiber, and it is a tree pulp fiber grown specifically on sustainable tree farms. Our forest fiber is vastly different from traditional bamboo, viscose, or rayon because it only requires one organic and non-toxic compound in a closed loop (never dumped, always reused), called NMMO (google it!) to process it, and it is guaranteed to not be harvested from old growth trees.

We are so proud to say Purusha clothing is made from start to finish in Los Angeles, CA. We’re knit, cut, and sewn in small family owned shops, dyed in a responsible dye house dedicated to low impact dyes, and screen printed in a clean and safe print shop with water-based ink. All people are paid at least minimum wage ($18/hr) and we abide by the stringent workplace and environmental laws of California.

- ANAudrey N.Verified BuyerI recommend this productRated 5 out of 5 starsMar 30, 2022Softest Hoodie I Own
This hoodie is the softest piece of clothing I own, but the main thing I like about it is the design, the length is perfect and the hoodie rest around my neck almost like a scarf, but not as tight as a turtle neck, which can get annoying with time. I could wear it every single day!

I was really looking forward to this sweatshirt, I loved the cute little mushrooms and tie dye coloring but when I tried it on I was super disappointed. This is in no way a loose fitting hoodie, it runs incredibly small. I’m super disappointed so I will be returning. Loved everything else about it though. Super sad this didn’t work for me.
