WHEN SHOULD YOU WEAR IT?
Everyday. I'm not kidding! I've sworn off bras at this point and ONLY wear these. If all my Purusha yoga bra tops are in the laundry no bra is being worn that day. If you feel subconscious showing your tummy, this little bra top is like your secret fun piece underneath, and somehow it makes you feel super positive about your bod as it flatters in all the right places. I'm a breastfeeding mama with a C cup (btw my boobs are NOT perky) and I can still wear my bra top jogging and get super comfy support. Can you tell how much I love this item?!
WHY THIS TOP IS AWESOME
Clothes made from trees are beautiful things! Our forest fiber pants are crafted from eucalyptus, beech, acacia, spruce, maple, and birch tree wood pulp so you don't have to worry about exercising and sweating in something synthetic and chemical-ridden. Don't worry though, forest fiber feels like silk and doesn't at all resemble tree bark ;)
WHY THIS TOP IS SLIGHTLY LESS AWESOME
There is technically nothing wrong with this top, it's just not the color I wanted it to be, and the bee print is harder to see.
It contains 6% spandex, which is a petroleum-based ingredient. Without it, your bra top wouldn't stretch and no one- you or the planet- would benefit from a product nobody wants because we refused to add a stretchy element to it. Until we can all exercise in loose woven flood pants and tunics (unlikely), or until someone invents a plant-based stretch fiber (yay science!), this is the best we've got. So much better than 100% plastic though, don't you think?
WHERE DOES IT COME FROM + WHO MADE IT?
Our Lenzing certified (this means a company that is awarded for innovation in sustainability) forest fiber is sourced from sustainable tree farms in Austria and neighboring countries, where the trees are grown for fibers so you don't have to fret about deforestation. The forest fiber is knitted into fabric in Los Angeles. Nadya, my best friend, and my super talented seamstress, hand sews each and every piece in her home in the desert in Southern California. I (Hayley), hand dye and hand screen print everything in my basement in Northwest Connecticut. (Very, very glamorous, I know!)
INGREDIENTS
92% forest fiber tencel 8% spandex, 100% cotton threads, low impact dye, water-based non-toxic ink.

Our clothing is special. It's inspired by the magic and awe of nature and the seasons, but beyond that it's as ethical and sustainable as possible. Purusha People is made in the USA, plant-based, nontoxic, manufactured safely and fairly paid, and 10% of profits going to a unique charity with every drop. We know our stuff is expensive, but that's because it's made the right way. It's worth the investment in ourselves, in our planet, and in future generations.
Our creations might look dainty and even reserved for special occasions, but they're truly designed for no fuss, everyday wear. As a mom with two young children and two spunky dogs that lives in comfy clothes, I can't be bothered with spending lots of money on clothes that I won't wear often and that won't hold up over time. I've worn our clothing throughout pregnancies, breastfeeding, hiking, running, yoga, and everything in between. You can also just throw your pieces in the wash without special treatment.
If your Purusha doesn't hold up for you, I promise to always repair or replace it, no questions asked. I adore our creations and stand behind them! I respect you and your support more than I can say.
Much love,
Hayley
