Our Promise To You
Because We Love Everyone And Everything On The Earth
We're a small, family owned business dedicated to honoring the planet and her people by producing in the USA with only sustainable materials. We produce clothing in small batches with limited inventory to reduce waste, employ independent women artists and creatives, and vow to be as transparent as possible in all our processes.
We strongly believe plastics and forever chemicals that coat polyesters and nylons for wrinkle and stain resistance do not belong on our bodies, and are harming us in ways unseen at the moment. Our clothing is made from 92% plant-based materials- Lenzing certified lyocell tencel and 8% spandex. Spring of 2025 we will be phasing in a plant-based spandex!
Our main line is made from Lenzing certified tencel lyocell. We call it forest fiber, and it is a tree pulp fiber grown specifically on sustainable tree farms. Our forest fiber is vastly different from traditional bamboo, viscose, or rayon because it only requires one organic and non-toxic compound in a closed loop (never dumped, always reused), called NMMO (google it!) to process it, and it is guaranteed to not be harvested from old growth trees.
We are so proud to say Purusha clothing is made from start to finish in Los Angeles, CA. We’re knit, cut, and sewn in small family owned shops, dyed in a responsible dye house dedicated to low impact dyes, and screen printed in a clean and safe print shop with water-based ink. All people are paid at least minimum wage ($18/hr) and we abide by the stringent workplace and environmental laws of California.

I have been in love with the full length jumpsuits for a while, and was really looking forward to trying out the shorter version. I was not disappointed. It is super comfy and adorable.

I never thought I’d be wearing what is essentially a romper again, especially as I am closer to 60 now than 50, but this makes great pajamas and my husband, who would tell me if he thought otherwise, even said he thought I could wear it out of the house. Thank you, Haley for such thoughtful items.

Got this on sale, almost half off. I was a bit doubtful that it might be too short and pull at the crotch or look frumpy, but seriously looks so flattering! It cuts off so it’s fitted around the chest but flowy at the waist. It looks good without me having to suck in my stomach. Also they’re not lying that you don’t need a bra, the top part essentially acts as a bra. The fabric is thick and it’s unexpectedly heavy, which is GOOD because it means it will hold up through time and won’t wrinkle as easily (hopefully). At the same time, it is very soft and stretchy. I like the pastel sea green color and subtle tie dye as well, and the coral print on the chest is cute. I have nothing but positives to say, if another one goes on sale in my size comparable to this I’d probably get another one.

This is my 4th purchase directly from purusha people. I really love this romper. It is the perfect length and the most buttery soft fabric. I felt beautiful and so comfy all day wearing it. Just try it!
