Over The Moon Organic Hoodie

Everywhere out there is home.

$ 158.00 USD
Size Size Guide XS

Some days, especially in January or February, I just want to hibernate. But, oy, capitalism calls. I must keep going. However, you better believe that while I'm working against the rhythm of nature, I'm going to be cozy. I'm going to dress like I'm living in my down-comforted bed, at least part-time. I designed this slightly cropped hoodie to be like that embrace from the wise mother that we so desperately need this time of year. It's deliciously soft inside and out, and it's just the right amount of loose so you can snuggle in deeply with yourself. The world might not let us slow down, but we can dress softly and naturally, and notice those moments when rest is needed.

*The hoodie is slightly lighter in color than the cargo pants due to the hoodie containing organic cotton.  The zipper may feel stiff at first due to garment dye. After a few washes and wears it will soften up!

Chante is wearing size S and is 5’10”, with a 32” bust, 27” waist, and 38” hip.

    INGREDIENTS: Our special eco fleece blend: Lenzing certified tencel lyocell- 60% forest fiber from acacia, eucalyptus, poplar, pine, spruce, beech, birch, and maple trees grown on tree farms in Eastern Europe, 35% organic cotton, 5% spandex for stretch, GOTS-certified nontoxic and metal-free dyes, water-based ink, and lots of love! XX

    Dyed rosemary. Sage green bear, moon, and ferns printed on the heart. Cut, sewn, dyed, and printed in downtown Los Angeles by small family-owned shops where creators are paid more than minimum wage.

    Our Promise To You

    Because We Love Everyone And Everything On The Earth

    ETHICALLY MADE

    We're a small, family owned business dedicated to honoring the planet and her people by producing in the USA with only sustainable materials. We produce clothing in small batches with limited inventory to reduce waste, employ independent women artists and creatives, and vow to be as transparent as possible in all our processes.

    POLYESTER FREE

    We strongly believe plastics and forever chemicals that coat polyesters and nylons for wrinkle and stain resistance do not belong on our bodies, and are harming us in ways unseen at the moment. Our clothing is made from 92% plant-based materials- Lenzing certified lyocell tencel and 8% spandex. Spring of 2025 we will be phasing in a plant-based spandex!

    PLANT BASED

    Our main line is made from Lenzing certified tencel lyocell. We call it forest fiber, and it is a tree pulp fiber grown specifically on sustainable tree farms. Our forest fiber is vastly different from traditional bamboo, viscose, or rayon because it only requires one organic and non-toxic compound in a closed loop (never dumped, always reused), called NMMO (google it!) to process it, and it is guaranteed to not be harvested from old growth trees.

    MADE IN THE USA

    We are so proud to say Purusha clothing is made from start to finish in Los Angeles, CA. We’re knit, cut, and sewn in small family owned shops, dyed in a responsible dye house dedicated to low impact dyes, and screen printed in a clean and safe print shop with water-based ink. All people are paid at least minimum wage ($18/hr) and we abide by the stringent workplace and environmental laws of California.
