When my daughter Marigold was born we couldn't help but laugh as her pudgy wrinkled face looked genuinely bored by her entrance (or reentrance?!) into this world. We have the funniest photo of my husband Pat holding her in a rocking chair minutes after birth and her face is just... eh. Take it or leave it, returning to this cycle of life and death, here we go again. (Don't worry, she's not bored of life as a two year old LOL!). Immediately we said Goldie had to be an old soul.
But aren't we all old souls? Have we been here before? No one has died and lived to tell about it, so this is the ultimate mystery that no human can truly have an answer for. But I believe in our hearts and souls we innately understand we're divinely created from the Light, even if we're not conscious of it. You are it, I am it. We are old souls, pure love expressed on the other side of a dream.

WE CARE DEEPLY: Solid wine color (there is no marbling on this, it is simply dappled sunlight), with all of the goddess Mother Nature's splendor printed in gold, sage, and rose quartz printed with water based ink. Cut, sewn, dyed, and printed in downtown Los Angeles by small family owned shops where creators are paid more than minimum wage.

PLEASE NOTE!: The top and bottom for this set are not exactly the same shade as they were dyed in different batches. The top is lighter and the leggings are a bit richer. They look beautiful together and their differences make them more unique to wear as a set!
Our clothing is special. It's inspired by the magic and awe of nature and the seasons, but beyond that it's as ethical and sustainable as possible. Purusha People is made in the USA, plant-based, nontoxic, manufactured safely and fairly paid, and 10% of profits going to a unique charity with every drop. We know our stuff is expensive, but that's because it's made the right way. It's worth the investment in ourselves, in our planet, and in future generations.
Our creations might look dainty and even reserved for special occasions, but they're truly designed for no fuss, everyday wear. As a mom with two young children and two spunky dogs that lives in comfy clothes, I can't be bothered with spending lots of money on clothes that I won't wear often and that won't hold up over time. I've worn our clothing throughout pregnancies, breastfeeding, hiking, running, yoga, and everything in between. You can also just throw your pieces in the wash without special treatment.
