Our Promise To You
Because We Love Everyone And Everything On The Earth
We're a small, family owned business dedicated to honoring the planet and her people by producing in the USA with only sustainable materials. We produce clothing in small batches with limited inventory to reduce waste, employ independent women artists and creatives, and vow to be as transparent as possible in all our processes.
We strongly believe plastics and forever chemicals that coat polyesters and nylons for wrinkle and stain resistance do not belong on our bodies, and are harming us in ways unseen at the moment. Our clothing is made from 92% plant-based materials- Lenzing certified lyocell tencel and 8% spandex. Spring of 2025 we will be phasing in a plant-based spandex!
Our main line is made from Lenzing certified tencel lyocell. We call it forest fiber, and it is a tree pulp fiber grown specifically on sustainable tree farms. Our forest fiber is vastly different from traditional bamboo, viscose, or rayon because it only requires one organic and non-toxic compound in a closed loop (never dumped, always reused), called NMMO (google it!) to process it, and it is guaranteed to not be harvested from old growth trees.
We are so proud to say Purusha clothing is made from start to finish in Los Angeles, CA. We’re knit, cut, and sewn in small family owned shops, dyed in a responsible dye house dedicated to low impact dyes, and screen printed in a clean and safe print shop with water-based ink. All people are paid at least minimum wage ($18/hr) and we abide by the stringent workplace and environmental laws of California.
Supercute jumper with a beautiful little print on the pockets. I think this is the most comfortable article of clothing in my closet!
I wear my Purusha nearly every day! My favorite yoga / play / lounge / everything clothes! Absolutely love this piece - the design, colors, style, and fit!
My overall experience is always wonderful. I love what Hayley and her company stand for and I love their products. I was excited for another romper. I love the color and the mandala print. I didnt even notice the change in design of the romper until it arrived. I'm preferable to the other style ones with the thinner straps and elastic type bottom of the legs, especially for when in the garden and yard barefoot, hiking and doing things outside. Also in the winter with snow and muck on the ground. I like how the other type fits and flows. This one is great feel and comfort wise when wearing and I understand impermanence, evolution and change . I just prefer the other style. Thanks for making beautiful clothing . So 4/5 for the change but the fabric and feel is still 5/5. Size small worn.
I think I have bought EIGHT pieces from Purusha People now and I adore every single piece. When I put one on, I look at myself in the mirror and hug myself. THAT is the feeling I get when I wear these clothes. Pure comfort, beauty, and self-love!
Na solute let love the shape of this top. It’s been so comfortable and my new go to for throwing on in the house and going to the beach or pool on some of the chillier Florida winter days
I was so excited this jumpsuit was delivered on NYE! I brought in the New Year wearing this magical piece with my Warming Ritual Cardigan. The delicate yet minimal gorgeous detailing on the pockets is perfect. The fit is perfect. The entire jumpsuit is perfect! I was a bit nervous it may be more ankle length than floor due to the model photos but I'm 5'4" & it hits the top of my feet.(which is great!) I may or may not have worn this jumpsuit for a few days straight, I didn't want to take it off! Another perfect addition to my ever growing Purusha People obsession.✨
