- INGREDIENTS: 92% forest fiber from acacia, eucalyptus, poplar, pine, spruce, beech, birch, and maple trees grown on tree farms in Eastern Europe, 8% spandex for stretch.
- FIT: A cozy house coat that ties in front, two pockets, longer in back, and a relaxed fit in the arms. This is meant to wear as a ceremonial home layer over our pieces, it is not a standalone bathrobe fit.
- WE CARE DEEPLY: Marbled Dutch blue indigo color with maximalist white moon phase on each back. Cut, sewn, dyed, and printed in downtown Los Angeles by small family owned shops where creators are paid more than minimum wage.

Please note that Purusha People clothing is handmade by our skilled artisans in Los Angeles, and our unique process allows for subtle differences in each piece. Forest fiber tencel, garment dye, and screen printing require special processes that are unlike other brands. Please enjoy your clothing as the special item it is, and celebrate its rarity!
We accept returns and exchanges up to 14 days from the item delivery date. Clothing must be unworn, unwashed, unscented, pet-hair free, and in new condition.
Exchanges for store credit are free. You can get store credit and save it for later, or shop instantly. If you opt for store credit for later, you’ll receive a gift card as soon as your return item is in transit.
Refunds are subject to a $15 handling fee to cover the return shipping label and warehouse fees. Refunds are credited via the same method you paid within 5 business days of receiving. Shipping is nonrefundable.
Underwear is only eligible for returns if the item has not been tried on. Please try underwear on over your existing underwear if you'd like the option to return.

We're a small, family owned business dedicated to honoring the planet and her people by producing in the USA with only sustainable materials. We produce clothing in small batches with limited inventory to reduce waste, employ independent women artists and creatives, and vow to be as transparent as possible in all our processes.
We strongly believe plastics and forever chemicals that coat polyesters and nylons for wrinkle and stain resistance do not belong on our bodies, and are harming us in ways unseen at the moment. Our clothing is made from 92% plant-based materials- Lenzing certified lyocell tencel and 8% spandex. Spring of 2025 we will be phasing in a plant-based spandex!
Our main line is made from Lenzing certified tencel lyocell. We call it forest fiber, and it is a tree pulp fiber grown specifically on sustainable tree farms. Our forest fiber is vastly different from traditional bamboo, viscose, or rayon because it only requires one organic and non-toxic compound in a closed loop (never dumped, always reused), called NMMO (google it!) to process it, and it is guaranteed to not be harvested from old growth trees.
We are so proud to say Purusha clothing is made from start to finish in Los Angeles, CA. We’re knit, cut, and sewn in small family owned shops, dyed in a responsible dye house dedicated to low impact dyes, and screen printed in a clean and safe print shop with water-based ink. All people are paid at least minimum wage ($18/hr) and we abide by the stringent workplace and environmental laws of California.

I was a little hesitant about buying this one, because of all the other reviews regarding the size issue. Well, now that I ended up getting it in my actual Purusha People size XS (I admit I would normally go for XXS if available) it fits just perfect! I'm really glad I didn't size up, because it is just right as is. I have been wearing this coat non-stop ever since receiving it in the mail. It works fine straight out of the tub in birthday suit only, as much as paired with pants and even light sweaters underneath during the day. Oh and my favorite way to wear it is as a dress - paired with just a leotard or bodysuit. The fabric is luxuriously soft as usual. That is the case with all the Purusha garments and one of the reasons why my collection is growing every year. Can't get enough of this stuff :D

I absolutely love this robe. Definitely could wear it out. Super comfy. I personally thought the sizing was accurate. I like that it’s not oversized like a lot of robes. And it’s flattering. I would love to see more of these in the future!

I listened to the reviews and ordered a size up. I usually take a large but went with the 1X and the fit is perfect! The arm length and the way the material drapes is perfect. I like that it is not bulky and is a wonderful layering piece over my tops. Once it gets a bit warmer I am pretty sure this will be a late spring summer staple. Such a wonderful unique piece, It's one of my purusha favorites. I am so glad I decided to purchase it.
