Mushrooms give a glimpse into the underworld, our ancestors, and spiritual visions from beyond. They do the dirty work, breaking down materials that we consider waste and undesirable. Mushrooms flourish and thrive in unlikely places, they decompose matter that is dead and done with its cycle in our land of the living. I created this print and color palette to remember that we can look to the shrooms in dark moments, to discover a rebirth from something we thought was lost and gone.
INGREDIENTS: 92% forest fiber from acacia, eucalyptus, poplar, pine, spruce, beech, birch, and maple trees grown on tree farms in Eastern Europe, 8% spandex for stretch.
Nutmeg color with gold moons and shrooms printed with water based ink. Cut, sewn, dyed, and printed in downtown Los Angeles by small family owned shops where creators are paid more than minimum wage.

Our Promise To You
Because We Love Everyone And Everything On The Earth
We're a small, family owned business dedicated to honoring the planet and her people by producing in the USA with only sustainable materials. We produce clothing in small batches with limited inventory to reduce waste, employ independent women artists and creatives, and vow to be as transparent as possible in all our processes.
We strongly believe plastics and forever chemicals that coat polyesters and nylons for wrinkle and stain resistance do not belong on our bodies, and are harming us in ways unseen at the moment. Our clothing is made from 92% plant-based materials- Lenzing certified lyocell tencel and 8% spandex. Spring of 2025 we will be phasing in a plant-based spandex!
Our main line is made from Lenzing certified tencel lyocell. We call it forest fiber, and it is a tree pulp fiber grown specifically on sustainable tree farms. Our forest fiber is vastly different from traditional bamboo, viscose, or rayon because it only requires one organic and non-toxic compound in a closed loop (never dumped, always reused), called NMMO (google it!) to process it, and it is guaranteed to not be harvested from old growth trees.
We are so proud to say Purusha clothing is made from start to finish in Los Angeles, CA. We’re knit, cut, and sewn in small family owned shops, dyed in a responsible dye house dedicated to low impact dyes, and screen printed in a clean and safe print shop with water-based ink. All people are paid at least minimum wage ($18/hr) and we abide by the stringent workplace and environmental laws of California.

The fit is amazing, of the (few) cute sustainably focused activewear options that exist, this is the only one that has the same options as "regular" sizes and fits perfectly!

I am a soft 32DD and this top fits perfectly. It is high rise and supportive enough to keep my breasts in when I do inverted poses. The fabric is second skin soft and thick. I had high hopes and this exceeded expectations.

I was excited to try this out, after having seen ads on Instagram and going back and reviewing the product and it's lovely creator. The fabric is very soft and much heavier than I expected (which is a great thing). It was also a bit bigger than I was expecting, but not so much that I can't wear it. I'm excited to explore more of the smaller sizes and color/print combinations! Speaking of color and print, both are flawless! Definitely a company I'm excited to invest more in.

This top along with a few other items I purchased are well worth the price tag, because QUALITY. I thoroughly enjoy the buttery-silky feel of the hemp material. I teach Lotus yoga in a 96 degree room and the hemp still breathes and wicks through my class. Highly recommend.
