They'll be the little shorts you need under a dress, the base layer between your sacred places and your leggings, and the protective hug from the Mother you never knew you needed so badly. It's not the undies that heal you, but how you feel in them.

We accept returns and exchanges up to 14 days from the item delivery date.
Exchanges for store credit are free. You can get store credit and save it for later, or shop instantly. If you opt for store credit for later, you’ll receive a gift card as soon as your return item is in transit.
Refunds are subject to a $15 handling fee to cover the return shipping label and warehouse fees.

Each piece is ethically made in the USA, sewn in small batches by skilled workers earning fair wages. We prioritize safe, respectful working conditions and local production to ensure every garment reflects the values we stand for- quality, integrity, and care.
Our clothing is free from polyester and traditional petroleum-based synthetics. We use plant-based TENCEL™ and a small amount of Creora® bio-based spandex for stretch- derived in part from renewable resources, but not yet fully plastic free and biodegradable. It's a step toward cleaner, safer clothing for your skin and the planet.
We use plant-based fabrics like TENCEL™ lyocell, ECOVERO™ viscose, and organic cotton, blended with Creora® bio-based spandex for gentle stretch. While the spandex still contains some petroleum, it’s partially derived from renewable sources—making it a better option than traditional synthetics. The result: soft, breathable, lower-impact clothing that feels as good as it is.
Making our clothing in the USA—especially in California—means higher standards across the board. Strict environmental regulations, fair labor laws, and safe working conditions ensure that every piece is made responsibly. It also reduces the carbon footprint of overseas shipping and supports local communities. When you choose USA-made, you’re choosing quality, ethics, and a cleaner planet.

Honestly pretty disappointed.
The quality is no longer near what it was when it was Hayley making the designs with Nadya creating the clothing by hand. Quite honestly, the quality has been decreasing significantly over the past few years, as the price goes up and up and up. I have been a huge supporter and self-made basically spokesperson/advocate for Purusha People and what it stood/stands for, but it’s getting harder and harder.
Very sheer..*too sheer*. Especially when I’m paying $90+ dollars (w/shipping) for a pair of boyshorts, but really in general for a pair of any boyshorts, I really expect for them to be opaque enough for me to be able to wear them alone as underwear, lounge shorts for at home, maybe even to workout in, etc. I can’t do that in these. I tried them on with underwear under and you could see right through them & see my underwear and skin under. I get that it’s a light color…still shouldn’t be very sheer, or sheer at all.
Literally the night I opened the package for this, there was a thread poking out of the seam by the back of the boyshorts. This should not be happening…again, especially not at $90+…in *THIS* economy?!
I’m really glad that Purusha People has grown its company and community SO much the past few years, but I really hope it can fix its quality issues because if not I am going to have to stop supporting them financially.
Boyshorts run quite large. Figuring out sizing is difficult. I ordered what should be my size based on the size…

We’re truly sorry to hear this piece didn’t meet your expectations. To clarify a couple of things: these are underwear (not lounge shorts), and they’re priced at $54—definitely not $90+. That said, we totally hear you on the sheerness and sizing concerns, especially with lighter colors.
