Our Promise To You
Because We Love Everyone And Everything On The Earth

We're a small, family owned business dedicated to honoring the planet and her people by producing in the USA with only sustainable materials. We produce clothing in small batches with limited inventory to reduce waste, employ independent women artists and creatives, and vow to be as transparent as possible in all our processes.

We strongly believe plastics and forever chemicals that coat polyesters and nylons for wrinkle and stain resistance do not belong on our bodies, and are harming us in ways unseen at the moment. Our clothing is made from 92% plant-based materials- Lenzing certified lyocell tencel and 8% spandex. Spring of 2025 we will be phasing in a plant-based spandex!

Our main line is made from Lenzing certified tencel lyocell. We call it forest fiber, and it is a tree pulp fiber grown specifically on sustainable tree farms. Our forest fiber is vastly different from traditional bamboo, viscose, or rayon because it only requires one organic and non-toxic compound in a closed loop (never dumped, always reused), called NMMO (google it!) to process it, and it is guaranteed to not be harvested from old growth trees.

We are so proud to say Purusha clothing is made from start to finish in Los Angeles, CA. We’re knit, cut, and sewn in small family owned shops, dyed in a responsible dye house dedicated to low impact dyes, and screen printed in a clean and safe print shop with water-based ink. All people are paid at least minimum wage ($18/hr) and we abide by the stringent workplace and environmental laws of California.

These have been great for traveling! They are super comfortable, can easily pair with a variety of tops and can wear multiple times without washing, and feel good while doing so! This is my first PP item and I'm looking forward to adding to my collection. Thank you for your intention, Hayley.

I loved every thing about these pants, the fabric, looser fit, pockets, cropped leg, high waist. But unfortunately the harem drop crotch was not a match for my plus size body. I have a more pronounced lower belly and unfortunately the harem crotch dangled in such a way that looked incredibly odd and almost like an appendage. I wish these pants were available with a normal rise crotch, I would wear them every single day. Maybe others in larger bodies don't mind the fit but I think anyone with a larger/lower hanging lower belly may run into similar proportion concerns. F.or reference I purchased 3X and am between sizes and possibly could have done 2X especially with the looser fit.

I was hesitant to try this style - would the drop crotch feel strange, would it meld with the rest of my wardrobe? WELP. I am SO GLAD I decided to try these - I love them so much I wore them for almost a week straight after receiving them. They're SO comfortable, go with everything, and they elevate an otherwise basic outfit. I love the ultra-high rise and the shape of the pocket. If I wear tall socks + boots you get a cute peak of sock triangle below the ankle gather - and my legs still stay warm. These are also fantastic for yoga bc the tapered ankle doesn't slide past your knee in a legs-up pose, and the design plus stretch in the fabric allows splits and lunges... and even if you're wearing a cropped top these sit so high your belly stays covered. I would 100% buy this style in other (relatively dark or neutral) colors.

I have been dreaming of Purusha harems since I first began collecting Hayley's heartfelt wearable art a little over a year ago. They are everything I'd hoped they would be and more. So comfortable, so beautiful, and so filled with loving intention. I am in love with these pants. Please make more of this style!! I'm confident they will be well suited for yoga practice, fire flow, hiking, and any other activity I choose. Purusha clothing is not only comfortable but it is durable, if you're on the fence or have never purchased a Purusha pieces I highly encourage you to go for it! The wait band is much higher than the genie pants or leggings, but it's soft and comfortable, not too thick. The ankle of the pants is about a hands length away from my ankle, I'm 5'4 for reference, I got size L.
