Our Promise To You
Because We Love Everyone And Everything On The Earth
We're a small, family owned business dedicated to honoring the planet and her people by producing in the USA with only sustainable materials. We produce clothing in small batches with limited inventory to reduce waste, employ independent women artists and creatives, and vow to be as transparent as possible in all our processes.
We strongly believe plastics and forever chemicals that coat polyesters and nylons for wrinkle and stain resistance do not belong on our bodies, and are harming us in ways unseen at the moment. Our clothing is made from 92% plant-based materials- Lenzing certified lyocell tencel and 8% spandex. Spring of 2025 we will be phasing in a plant-based spandex!
Our main line is made from Lenzing certified tencel lyocell. We call it forest fiber, and it is a tree pulp fiber grown specifically on sustainable tree farms. Our forest fiber is vastly different from traditional bamboo, viscose, or rayon because it only requires one organic and non-toxic compound in a closed loop (never dumped, always reused), called NMMO (google it!) to process it, and it is guaranteed to not be harvested from old growth trees.
We are so proud to say Purusha clothing is made from start to finish in Los Angeles, CA. We’re knit, cut, and sewn in small family owned shops, dyed in a responsible dye house dedicated to low impact dyes, and screen printed in a clean and safe print shop with water-based ink. All people are paid at least minimum wage ($18/hr) and we abide by the stringent workplace and environmental laws of California.

I have been living in these scoop neck tops, so glad to have found this company! I have this style in both xs and small now (Im a 27 waist/34 bust) the small still hugs really well but is more relaxed and comfy, both have their merits in my wardrobe. Looking forward to more beautiful designs, Ive been getting so many compliments on this one at my workout studio :)

I wear these tops for yoga, under my tops when I go to work, on the weekends around the house, to sleep- basically anything except when high intensity activity is involved. The whale print along with the color evokes peace and mystery and fluidity, which I love. I am a size 4-6/small (usually) with a larger rib cage and used to buy a 36c in bras when I wore more formally sized bras. The medium fits well but isn’t super tight (hence why I don’t wear for high impact), but the cut works well for me and holds me comfortably in place even after 6 years of breast feeding and the likes. And my easily irritated skin loves the fabric!
