Please note that Purusha People clothing is handmade by our skilled artisans in Los Angeles, and our unique process allows for subtle differences in each piece. Forest fiber tencel, garment dye, and screen printing require special processes that are unlike other brands. Please enjoy your clothing as the special item it is, and celebrate its rarity!
We accept returns and exchanges up to 14 days from the item delivery date. Clothing must be unworn, unwashed, unscented, pet-hair free, and in new condition.
Exchanges for store credit are free. You can get store credit and save it for later, or shop instantly. If you opt for store credit for later, you’ll receive a gift card as soon as your return item is in transit.
Refunds are subject to a $15 handling fee to cover the return shipping label and warehouse fees. Refunds are credited via the same method you paid within 5 business days of receiving. Shipping is nonrefundable.
Underwear is only eligible for returns if the item has not been tried on. Please try underwear on over your existing underwear if you'd like the option to return.

We're a small, family owned business dedicated to honoring the planet and her people by producing in the USA with only sustainable materials. We produce clothing in small batches with limited inventory to reduce waste, employ independent women artists and creatives, and vow to be as transparent as possible in all our processes.
We strongly believe plastics and forever chemicals that coat polyesters and nylons for wrinkle and stain resistance do not belong on our bodies, and are harming us in ways unseen at the moment. Our clothing is made from 92% plant-based materials- Lenzing certified lyocell tencel and 8% spandex. Spring of 2025 we will be phasing in a plant-based spandex!
Our main line is made from Lenzing certified tencel lyocell. We call it forest fiber, and it is a tree pulp fiber grown specifically on sustainable tree farms. Our forest fiber is vastly different from traditional bamboo, viscose, or rayon because it only requires one organic and non-toxic compound in a closed loop (never dumped, always reused), called NMMO (google it!) to process it, and it is guaranteed to not be harvested from old growth trees.
We are so proud to say Purusha clothing is made from start to finish in Los Angeles, CA. We’re knit, cut, and sewn in small family owned shops, dyed in a responsible dye house dedicated to low impact dyes, and screen printed in a clean and safe print shop with water-based ink. All people are paid at least minimum wage ($18/hr) and we abide by the stringent workplace and environmental laws of California.

I have two pairs of the genie pants now (and just ordered another), they're my absolute favourite pants I own - so comfy and soft, and I really love the weight of them, it makes it feel very sturdy and keeps me warmer in cold weather. I'm 5'3, hips about 40 inches and have thicker thighs and the medium fits amazing.

so comfortable. drapes really well. soulfully feeling the water energy and this whale friend's magick. my only recommendation is if there's a way to make it feel less weighted - I realize this is personal preference. I'm a teacher and when teaching / moving around a lot lighter fabric that drape amazingly without extra weight feels even more amazing. thank you!!!

I recently wore these pants to a fire spinning performance. They are so comfortable, durable, and beautiful. They are my favorite pants I've ever worn. These are seriously the most comfortable and beautiful pants ever. They’re so soft and buttery. They give me princess jasmine nostalgia vibes and I’m all about it! I don’t want to take them off and somehow end up in them at the end of almost every day. I usually buy a size XS in Purusha leggings but wanted these to be cozy so ordered a Small but they still feel very small! So glad I didn’t go for the XS - next time I’ll order Mediums :) I’m 5’7” and 125 lbs for reference
