Our Promise To You
Because We Love Everyone And Everything On The Earth

We're a small, family owned business dedicated to honoring the planet and her people by producing in the USA with only sustainable materials. We produce clothing in small batches with limited inventory to reduce waste, employ independent women artists and creatives, and vow to be as transparent as possible in all our processes.

We strongly believe plastics and forever chemicals that coat polyesters and nylons for wrinkle and stain resistance do not belong on our bodies, and are harming us in ways unseen at the moment. Our clothing is made from 92% plant-based materials- Lenzing certified lyocell tencel and 8% spandex. Spring of 2025 we will be phasing in a plant-based spandex!

Our main line is made from Lenzing certified tencel lyocell. We call it forest fiber, and it is a tree pulp fiber grown specifically on sustainable tree farms. Our forest fiber is vastly different from traditional bamboo, viscose, or rayon because it only requires one organic and non-toxic compound in a closed loop (never dumped, always reused), called NMMO (google it!) to process it, and it is guaranteed to not be harvested from old growth trees.

We are so proud to say Purusha clothing is made from start to finish in Los Angeles, CA. We’re knit, cut, and sewn in small family owned shops, dyed in a responsible dye house dedicated to low impact dyes, and screen printed in a clean and safe print shop with water-based ink. All people are paid at least minimum wage ($18/hr) and we abide by the stringent workplace and environmental laws of California.

I LOVE everything I’ve purchased from Purusha People and of course these Bells are no exception. They are so buttery soft, the color is the perfect green, and you can do anything in them! I wish I had these during pregnancy with my kiddos because they are a dream to sleep in, play in, breastfeed in, live in! Both my kids love to just feel them .

I’m beyond stoked on the confidence these pants give me. They hug my booty and thighs with so much love! The fabric is very smooth too. I’m 5’5 140 lbs and I went with a small and they are PERFECT.

I’m really in love with these bells because I decided to try a size down (medium) since I’d gotten a few bells in large and because of different fabrics one pair is a bit too loose. These mediums are perfect, I like that they’re more snug around my belly. And of course the color is amazing.

I waited a long time to purchase because I had to save up to afford the top and flared yoga pants. Boy am I glad I did! These are the most soft and comfy pieces of clothing I've ever owned. Thicker than expected but in a good way. I feel sexy and comfortable all day without even trying. I have gained some weight recently but these pieces make me feel gorgeous regardless of my body shape. For reference I am 5'10, 36B, 35" waist 43" hip. I bought size 1x pants and size large top Thank you so much for making such lovely, sustainable clothing! I cannot wait to buy another set
