What we wear on our vaginas MATTERS. And it should not be anything close to resembling plastic, or chemicals, or toxic dyes. FGS, let's do our vessels right and not put synthetics in our sacred sections. This is why we created our forest fiber undies: because plastic does not belong on our vaginas! I respect your body and it's right to be healthy and honored. It is my hope that our intimates range will bring you there. Bowing deeply to your sacred feminine energy.

  • INGREDIENTS: 92% forest fiber from acacia, eucalyptus, poplar, pine, spruce, beech, birch, and maple trees grown on tree farms in Eastern Europe, 8% spandex for stretch.
  • FIT: This is a low rise barely there thong, resembling a G-string, to be as unnoticeable under your leggings as possible. Natural fiber underwear does require a seam to prevent rolling of the fabric, so they will not resemble the invisible panty line you might get from laser cut synthetics. However, I believe the cut of these is as discreet as you can get in a plant-based underwear (and I've tried many!). The crotch will feel narrow until you adjust the thong to a low rise fit and pull the back higher up your bottom. Once you've found where they sit on your body you'll sigh with relief :) I recommend wearing the thong color that matches your skin for all our colored bottoms, and the black undies for pairing with all our black bottoms.
  • WE CARE DEEPLY: Apricot with a chestnut baby moon printed with water based ink. Cut, sewn, dyed, and printed in downtown Los Angeles by small family owned shops where creators are paid more than minimum wage.
  • RETURNS: For your health and safety, our underwear is only eligible for returns if the item is NOT tried on. Thank you for understanding.

Q - Why is it so expensive?

A - Things can only be made cheaply when either someone is underpaid or it's completely automated. Unfortunately, machines haven't taken over all labor yet. So in the meantime we pay a premium for high quality fabrics and labor. While an average top may cost $5 for Forever 21 to make, we pay anywhere from $30-$50. That means on a $68 dollar top, profit may be $30-40 which then must cover operating expenses (website fees, shipping containers, freight charges), taxes, and payroll. Our end of the day profit is closer to $3-6. If we did this for the money, we'd be in the wrong industry. We do this to make an amazing garment you'll love for years.

Q - When are sold out items restocked?

A - Never. Nothing gold can stay. Each piece is specially designed for the vibe and spirit of the season. Once it's gone, it's gone!

Q - Where is it made and who makes it?

A - We only work with small family owned shops employing 8-10 people paying well above minimum wage in Los Angeles, CA.

Q - Is it sustainable and organic?

A - Anyone who claims sustainability while producing a product is greenwashing, intentional or not. We are responsible. To be truly sustainable we should all be wearing undyed, unisex, 100% recycled fabric scraps, government issued uniforms for 5-10 years at a time. While we are not that, we are much, much better than most of the alternatives out there. Our fabric is 99% closed loop, low plastic, made with fair wages, GOTS certified dyed, water based inked, and we donate money to a new charity every month. We will never stop seeking more ways to be make a cleaner and more beautiful piece of clothing!

Purusha People Apricot Moon Yoga Thong Review

New favorite thongs!

Buttery soft and sooo comfortable! Fell in love as soon as my hands glided along them, and even more once I slid them on! Feels invisible under my leggings. Sizing is fairly true to standard. The fit is definitely more of a mid rise though but can be pulled down as a low fit - the material naturally hugs on and above my hips. Hoping for more colors and bundle/mix n match options. I’d love to buy one more of each, but can’t justify spending $28 on a single pair!

Like nothing at all

This thong is the most COMFORTABLE thong I’ve ever owned. It feels like I’m *****. Like nothing at all is there. Amazing, I will be back for more! I got the color in apricot and I really love the baby moon printed on the front.

Obsessed with these!! So soft!!

It is so hard to find comfortable plant based underwear and I really hope these become a regularly stocked item!! I wore them for a yoga practice with my purusha bells and they stayed put. I have the M and am usually between a S/M in bottoms but tend to size up when purchasing online to be on the safe side. The M actually fits a little higher on my hip which works great for high waisted pants. Not sure if the small would be too tight but I'd be curious to try both sizes if there is another drop in the future! Also would love to purchase a matching bralette if you ever make them!
