Please note that Purusha People clothing is handmade by our skilled artisans in Los Angeles, and our unique process allows for subtle differences in each piece. Forest fiber tencel, garment dye, and screen printing require special processes that are unlike other brands. Please enjoy your clothing as the special item it is, and celebrate its rarity!
We accept returns and exchanges up to 14 days from the item delivery date. Clothing must be unworn, unwashed, unscented, pet-hair free, and in new condition.
Exchanges for store credit are free. You can get store credit and save it for later, or shop instantly. If you opt for store credit for later, you’ll receive a gift card as soon as your return item is in transit.
Refunds are subject to a $15 handling fee to cover the return shipping label and warehouse fees. Refunds are credited via the same method you paid within 5 business days of receiving. Shipping is nonrefundable.
Underwear is only eligible for returns if the item has not been tried on. Please try underwear on over your existing underwear if you'd like the option to return.

We're a small, family owned business dedicated to honoring the planet and her people by producing in the USA with only sustainable materials. We produce clothing in small batches with limited inventory to reduce waste, employ independent women artists and creatives, and vow to be as transparent as possible in all our processes.
We strongly believe plastics and forever chemicals that coat polyesters and nylons for wrinkle and stain resistance do not belong on our bodies, and are harming us in ways unseen at the moment. Our clothing is made from 92% plant-based materials- Lenzing certified lyocell tencel and 8% spandex. Spring of 2025 we will be phasing in a plant-based spandex!
Our main line is made from Lenzing certified tencel lyocell. We call it forest fiber, and it is a tree pulp fiber grown specifically on sustainable tree farms. Our forest fiber is vastly different from traditional bamboo, viscose, or rayon because it only requires one organic and non-toxic compound in a closed loop (never dumped, always reused), called NMMO (google it!) to process it, and it is guaranteed to not be harvested from old growth trees.
We are so proud to say Purusha clothing is made from start to finish in Los Angeles, CA. We’re knit, cut, and sewn in small family owned shops, dyed in a responsible dye house dedicated to low impact dyes, and screen printed in a clean and safe print shop with water-based ink. All people are paid at least minimum wage ($18/hr) and we abide by the stringent workplace and environmental laws of California.

These leggings are soft and substantial. Love the printed details, of course. I got a size up so I'd have a bit of breathing room and they're perfect.

This was my first time ordering from Purusha and when I first put these leggings on, they felt like butter! I could tell the material was different, high quality. I've since worn the leggings a couple times and love how they fit. I will likely order more leggings from PP soon!

I love the basic legging design and you can't go wrong with black. I like the simplistic detail of the stars/moons on the front and back of the leg. I also have other leggings with a simple design that goes vertical and I'd say I prefer the vertical design to horizontal, and they're still cute as can be. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is they arrived with a small pick, thread pulled in the material. It's very small & I'm hoping it doesn't get any bigger. I bought them for a specific need that didn't really allow me the flexibility to go through the return process before I wore them. Overall, I love all the Purusha leggings! The material has spoiled me and I can no longer stand synthetic materials on my skin - they make me want to crawl out of my skin. Thank you!

Oh. My. God. I've been buying/wearing Wolven leggings for awhile and they're nice, but I'm so glad I finally pulled the trigger on a pair of these. They're so stretchy and comfy, they fit amazing. I was unsure which size to go with since I've gained a little weight but I stuck with my usual Medium and I'm glad I did. I don't feel squeezed at all, and it's nice to finally have a pair of leggings again that I feel comfortable in! Never going back to any other brand. Thank you!!
