The last glorious weeks of summer are meant to be savored and taken slowly. Soaking up the waning sunshine, smelling the phlox and goldenrod, gazing at the abundant greens of the trees, and of course gathering and sharing all the food we've grown (or stocking up at the local farmstand!). These days grow shorter, but our hearts grow warmer as we take stock of all the abundance of summer within our bodies, within our breath, and within our spirit. Summer never dies, but lives inside our beating hearts, waiting quietly for the longer days to return again. They always do.
A portion of sales from The Harvest Drop are being donated to Ample Harvest. Ample Harvest connects farmers, backyard gardeners, and anyone that has grown too much food to local food pantries in their area, so that those that are without an abundance of food can have access to it.
