Please note that Purusha People clothing is handmade by our skilled artisans in Los Angeles, and our unique process allows for subtle differences in each piece. Forest fiber tencel, garment dye, and screen printing require special processes that are unlike other brands. Please enjoy your clothing as the special item it is, and celebrate its rarity!
We accept returns and exchanges up to 14 days from the item delivery date. Clothing must be unworn, unwashed, unscented, pet-hair free, and in new condition.
Exchanges for store credit are free. You can get store credit and save it for later, or shop instantly. If you opt for store credit for later, you’ll receive a gift card as soon as your return item is in transit.
Refunds are subject to a $15 handling fee to cover the return shipping label and warehouse fees. Refunds are credited via the same method you paid within 5 business days of receiving. Shipping is nonrefundable.
Underwear is only eligible for returns if the item has not been tried on. Please try underwear on over your existing underwear if you'd like the option to return.

We're a small, family owned business dedicated to honoring the planet and her people by producing in the USA with only sustainable materials. We produce clothing in small batches with limited inventory to reduce waste, employ independent women artists and creatives, and vow to be as transparent as possible in all our processes.
We strongly believe plastics and forever chemicals that coat polyesters and nylons for wrinkle and stain resistance do not belong on our bodies, and are harming us in ways unseen at the moment. Our clothing is made from 92% plant-based materials- Lenzing certified lyocell tencel and 8% spandex. Spring of 2025 we will be phasing in a plant-based spandex!
Our main line is made from Lenzing certified tencel lyocell. We call it forest fiber, and it is a tree pulp fiber grown specifically on sustainable tree farms. Our forest fiber is vastly different from traditional bamboo, viscose, or rayon because it only requires one organic and non-toxic compound in a closed loop (never dumped, always reused), called NMMO (google it!) to process it, and it is guaranteed to not be harvested from old growth trees.
We are so proud to say Purusha clothing is made from start to finish in Los Angeles, CA. We’re knit, cut, and sewn in small family owned shops, dyed in a responsible dye house dedicated to low impact dyes, and screen printed in a clean and safe print shop with water-based ink. All people are paid at least minimum wage ($18/hr) and we abide by the stringent workplace and environmental laws of California.

I bought these and returned them thinking the color was too dark and similar to my black genies. Then I got the matching top in another shipment and saw the color in the light and was sorry I returned the genies since they were already sold out, lol! I kept an eye on the website waiting for any returns to come in and when I saw my size again I scooped them up! I'm so happy I have this set again. I found all the genies in this drop to be tts. I bought all 4 pair with zero regrets!

The fit and feel of these are amazing. So very comfortable - gorgeous, rich color. They offer just enough compression (very light) in the waist so that they don't slip, but stay in place. I got the small, and usually wear a size 6. If I could change anything, it would be a slightly longer inseam, as I'm 5'11'' - but the cropped look is cute.

Love them! I wanted a pair of dark blue pants amid a sea of various purples. They will go with many blue and purple tops and denim jackets in all these shades. If it’s a warm day I hike them up to just-below-the-knee length thanks to the cuffs. It’s my favorite length, and I greatly prefer not having to roll up into cuffs, which never look polished. My first pair of genies, and they are crazy comfy. The black is subdued but then you spy Aset in peach above your bum and things are different. These seem like they'll be good all-season bottoms.

happy I swooped up a pair of these pants .. nothing beats the cut... I can put these on do a yoga session, get in the car go to the store, come home walk the dogs and run more errands drop off kids yata yata you know the drill and contemplate if I have to take them off to sleep ... super pants!
