Our Promise To You
Because We Love Everyone And Everything On The Earth
We're a small, family owned business dedicated to honoring the planet and her people by producing in the USA with only sustainable materials. We produce clothing in small batches with limited inventory to reduce waste, employ independent women artists and creatives, and vow to be as transparent as possible in all our processes.
We strongly believe plastics and forever chemicals that coat polyesters and nylons for wrinkle and stain resistance do not belong on our bodies, and are harming us in ways unseen at the moment. Our clothing is made from 92% plant-based materials- Lenzing certified lyocell tencel and 8% spandex. Spring of 2025 we will be phasing in a plant-based spandex!
Our main line is made from Lenzing certified tencel lyocell. We call it forest fiber, and it is a tree pulp fiber grown specifically on sustainable tree farms. Our forest fiber is vastly different from traditional bamboo, viscose, or rayon because it only requires one organic and non-toxic compound in a closed loop (never dumped, always reused), called NMMO (google it!) to process it, and it is guaranteed to not be harvested from old growth trees.
We are so proud to say Purusha clothing is made from start to finish in Los Angeles, CA. We’re knit, cut, and sewn in small family owned shops, dyed in a responsible dye house dedicated to low impact dyes, and screen printed in a clean and safe print shop with water-based ink. All people are paid at least minimum wage ($18/hr) and we abide by the stringent workplace and environmental laws of California.

I returned these because they were too short at the crotch for my long waist--such a bummer because the fabric and design are top-notch.

I love these Rompers. I got the Shadow work Romper and loved it so much I got this one as well. It is my favorite thing to wear when I go rollerskating. Nice big pockets and the perfect amount of coverage at the top. I pair it with one of the purusha bras or a plain t shirt/longsleeve and it looks great every time. Perfect for intense workouts and cute enough for Adult Night. I'm suprised these haven't sold out. Do yourself a favor and GET ONE, you won't regret it.

I may have worn this jumpsuit for a week straight after receiving it - as soon as I put it on, I knew it was going to be my go-to comfy, around the house outfit. I’ve worn it to yoga (with a PP bra top underneath), to work at a pre-school, and running errands. I love wearing it with one of my PP wrap tops, with a cashmere sweater over, or with a flowy cardigan. The pockets are surprisingly deep, and I live that the bottom is scrunched. It definitely needs a top under if you have a larger chest, just a heads up!
