Each piece is ethically made in the USA, sewn in small batches by skilled workers earning fair wages. We prioritize safe, respectful working conditions and local production to ensure every garment reflects the values we stand for- quality, integrity, and care.
Our clothing is free from polyester and traditional petroleum-based synthetics. We use plant-based TENCEL™ and a small amount of Creora® bio-based spandex for stretch- derived in part from renewable resources, but not yet fully plastic free and biodegradable. It's a step toward cleaner, safer clothing for your skin and the planet.
We use plant-based fabrics like TENCEL™ lyocell, ECOVERO™ viscose, and organic cotton, blended with Creora® bio-based spandex for gentle stretch. While the spandex still contains some petroleum, it’s partially derived from renewable sources—making it a better option than traditional synthetics. The result: soft, breathable, lower-impact clothing that feels as good as it is.
Making our clothing in the USA—especially in California—means higher standards across the board. Strict environmental regulations, fair labor laws, and safe working conditions ensure that every piece is made responsibly. It also reduces the carbon footprint of overseas shipping and supports local communities. When you choose USA-made, you’re choosing quality, ethics, and a cleaner planet.

The high waisted thong is my favorite underwear cut by Purusha, second only to their high waisted brief (bring these back!). The black fabric is what you would expect from this line, somewhat stretchy but holds you comfortably. I love that they have offered these in a more simple design at a more affordable price point. these are the underwear of my dreams. fit is amazing, true to size. i love that they are a little more affordable but still feel handmade and super high quality. the stitching is amazing and they have minimal volume for being cotton. would also love to see a high rise brief or high rise cheeky at some point.

The color is beautiful and the fit is so good. Love that the fabric is safe and healthy and breathable - I’m a yoga teacher in my workout clothes all day long and it’s nice to be able to trust the fabric and these are totally no show which is amazing. So perfect I’d love to get some more!!
