The Great Unknown Overalls

Can mercury be permanently in retrograde? 🤔 I asked myself this question recently as I experienced a string of back to back failures and misfortunes. Our dog cracked a molar on a bone and needed to have it pulled (read, $$$$), my husband had a weird new food allergy that was disrupting our lives, I made WAY too much of a style here that people were not resonating with, and our IG account got shadowbanned for talking about the good and bad sides of recycling plastic. (We are still dealing with this, sadly.) One day I woke up and realized I had the choice to either keep asking 'why me?' or adapt, learn, and evolve with the shit that was bubbling to the surface. I wanted to create a piece that reflected that all the 'bad' we go through is not for nothing, it's a guide to lead us where we're meant to be.

Ferns symbolize humility, growth, and new beginnings. It's hard to start over and see what went wrong. Often we have to put aside our egos to recalibrate. It's not easy. Wisdom comes through struggle, and through firsthand experience. Growth and change can be painful, but what comes out on the other side is more beautiful and joyful than we can imagine. Look to the ferns as a reminder that if you're hurt, struggling, or frustrated, this is not a bad thing. This is not how it will always be. It's information that the time has come to shift, and make that leap into the great and vast unknown. You got this sister.

I am so in love with these overalls. I wore them for a few days straight upon receiving. Don't judge me, washing clothes less is good for the enviro! I love the adjustable ties on top. I can wear this jumpsuit in different ways that fluctuate with my cycle. The blue color is deep and gorgeous, and the fern detailing inspires me to stay connected to nature. I have worn it with a variety of undershirts, including crop tanks, full length tanks, 3/4 sleeves, and a long sleeve and they all looked fantastic. I will be living in this item all season.

Comfiest outfit I own!

For the past week all I’ve done is come home from work and put these on immediately. They are great for lounging and doing chores in. Also super great for going out! I wore these on a trip to the park with friends after I got them, and got so many complements and felt so cute and comfortable all day.

Beautiful but Maybe Not for Large Busts

I love these. The quality is incredible. They are beautifully made, the color is so rich and deep, and the fabric is so thick and sturdy. Here's the thing. They look weird on me. I am a 32G, so with a supportive bra, my chest sticks out pretty far from my torso. I think these overalls are not made for a large bust, so the front part looks weird and not good. Otherwise, they are gorgeous and I am sad they don't work for me.
