We have an abundance of beautiful items that are slightly imperfect. For the longest time I wanted to list them here in the shop as 'donation based' items, pay what you can if you're struggling. Quickly I learned people will take advantage and see it as a deal (sadly this happened the first time I listed a product), and I felt very uncomfortable judging who was financially struggling and who was not. On top of all this, we have such a unique variety of seconds items that I didn't know where to start in terms of photographing every unique item and its flaw, one by one, and then listing each product, one by one. It's a big BIG job and I wanted to keep the prices LOW.
Fast forward to my five year old being obsessed with mystery toys, or toys you don't know which one you'll get. (Who am I kidding, I love them too! Nothing beats the excitement of getting a rare item or something you really wanted- by chance!) I thought... what if I could offer our second quality items as mystery bundles at a super low price?! - WE CARE DEEPLY: Hand dyed by Hayley, hand printed by Hayley, hand sewn by Nadya! OR handmade in our small family owned Los Angeles shops :) These items have a very small defect, such as an undissolved dye spot, funky seam, fabric imperfection, etc. I make sure all items here are wearable and will last.

Purusha People is made in the USA, plant-based, nontoxic, manufactured safely and fairly paid, and 10% of profits going to a unique charity with every drop. We know our stuff is expensive, but that's because it's made the right way. It's worth the investment in ourselves, in our planet, and in future generations.
Our creations might look dainty and even reserved for special occasions, but they're truly designed for no fuss, everyday wear. As a mom with two young children and two spunky dogs that lives in comfy clothes, I can't be bothered with spending lots of money on clothes that I won't wear often and that won't hold up over time. I've worn our clothing throughout pregnancies, breastfeeding, hiking, running, yoga, and everything in between. You can also just throw your pieces in the wash without special treatment.
If your Purusha doesn't hold up for you, I promise to always repair or replace it, no questions asked. I adore our creations and stand behind them! I respect you and your support more than I can say.
