Mother Earth has taken a beating. For millions of years she shucked off icy glaciers and comet strikes before finding her balance and spinning on without complaining. How did she do it? Every organism chipped in of course. Let's start with the way she cycles fresh water from icy mountain streams to ocean shores. Rain pours down mountains filling streams and lakes, giving us gorgeous sights like Crater Lake and Yellowstone Falls. Not bad for step one. The rivers wind down black mountains and green plains emptying into the sea, mixing with salt water and keeping salinity at a safe level for ocean life, for the seals of Monterey, CA diving for fish. Colossal thirsty clouds suck water back up again and gush down on the hills and peaks, restarting the process.

What does this have to do with mushrooms? Well, these tiny fungi have their own part in the cycle of life. They break down dead organic matter and redistribute it back into soil, feeding nearby plant life and cleaning the area of the past. They’re the unsung heroes of the dirt. Yeah, it's not as glamorous as beaches and waterfalls, but they do their part every second of the day. And maybe that's why we want to sport these little fungi. If millions of them can work in unison fixing up Mother Earth without complaining, maybe we can do the same.

  • INGREDIENTS: 92% forest fiber from acacia, eucalyptus, poplar, pine, spruce, beech, birch, and maple trees grown on tree farms in Eastern Europe, 8% spandex for stretch.
  • FIT: "Better than any sports bra you've ever owned!" Double layered. Madison is wearing size M and is 5'10", 34" bust, 29" waist, 40" hip. Serena is wearing size 1X and is 5'9", 43" bust, 35" waist, 48" hip.
  • WE CARE DEEPLY: Deep, lush, cool hunter green with copper moons and shrooms printed with water based ink. This Yoga top is cut, sewn, dyed, and printed in downtown Los Angeles by small family owned shops where creators are paid more than minimum wage.

Q - Why is it so expensive?

A - Things can only be made cheaply when either someone is underpaid or it's completely automated. Unfortunately, machines haven't taken over all labor yet. So in the meantime we pay a premium for high quality fabrics and labor. While an average top may cost $5 for Forever 21 to make, we pay anywhere from $30-$50. That means on a $68 dollar top, profit may be $30-40 which then must cover operating expenses (website fees, shipping containers, freight charges), taxes, and payroll. Our end of the day profit is closer to $3-6. If we did this for the money, we'd be in the wrong industry. We do this to make an amazing garment you'll love for years.

Q - When are sold out items restocked?

A - Never. Nothing gold can stay. Each piece is specially designed for the vibe and spirit of the season. Once it's gone, it's gone!

Q - Where is it made and who makes it?

A - We only work with small family owned shops employing 8-10 people paying well above minimum wage in Los Angeles, CA.

Q - Is it sustainable and organic?

A - Anyone who claims sustainability while producing a product is greenwashing, intentional or not. We are responsible. To be truly sustainable we should all be wearing undyed, unisex, 100% recycled fabric scraps, government issued uniforms for 5-10 years at a time. While we are not that, we are much, much better than most of the alternatives out there. Our fabric is 99% closed loop, low plastic, made with fair wages, GOTS certified dyed, water based inked, and we donate money to a new charity every month. We will never stop seeking more ways to be make a cleaner and more beautiful piece of clothing!

So soft

These tops are so comfy and cute. The forest fiber is so soft and thicker then I thought which is great. LOVE the mushroom design. I got a medium and I'm a 34 bra band. They are tight so everything stays in place. I'm breastfeeding so I rarely wear a bra but once I'm done these will be the only bras I wear! They aren't the easiest to nurse with. I can if I squeeze the boob out of the bottom but I'm planning to get the skinny strap bra top so I can nurse from the top easier. Either way, these are amazing!
