  • INGREDIENTS: 92% forest fiber from acacia, eucalyptus, poplar, pine, spruce, beech, birch, and maple trees grown on tree farms in Eastern Europe, 8% spandex for stretch.
  • FIT: "Supportive enough that you don't need a bra." Double layered. Madison is wearing size M and is 5'10", 34" bust, 29" waist, 40" hip.
  • WE CARE DEEPLY:  Off white yoga top with black moon phases printed with water based ink. Cut, sewn, dyed, and printed in downtown Los Angeles by small family owned shops where creators are paid more than minimum wage.

Q - Why is it so expensive?

A - Things can only be made cheaply when either someone is underpaid or it's completely automated. Unfortunately, machines haven't taken over all labor yet. So in the meantime we pay a premium for high quality fabrics and labor. While an average top may cost $5 for Forever 21 to make, we pay anywhere from $30-$50. That means on a $68 dollar top, profit may be $30-40 which then must cover operating expenses (website fees, shipping containers, freight charges), taxes, and payroll. Our end of the day profit is closer to $3-6. If we did this for the money, we'd be in the wrong industry. We do this to make an amazing garment you'll love for years.

Q - When are sold out items restocked?

A - Never. Nothing gold can stay. Each piece is specially designed for the vibe and spirit of the season. Once it's gone, it's gone!

Q - Where is it made and who makes it?

A - We only work with small family owned shops employing 8-10 people paying well above minimum wage in Los Angeles, CA.

Q - Is it sustainable and organic?

A - Anyone who claims sustainability while producing a product is greenwashing, intentional or not. We are responsible. To be truly sustainable we should all be wearing undyed, unisex, 100% recycled fabric scraps, government issued uniforms for 5-10 years at a time. While we are not that, we are much, much better than most of the alternatives out there. Our fabric is 99% closed loop, low plastic, made with fair wages, GOTS certified dyed, water based inked, and we donate money to a new charity every month. We will never stop seeking more ways to be make a cleaner and more beautiful piece of clothing!

Moon Spell Top

As my third top bought from Purusha People, they never fail to be incredible!! From working out, to my yoga classes both teaching and as a student, to simply lounging around the house, this top is so comfy!! The biggest thing that I love is that I know it’s an eco friendly choice, and that I’m supporting people who have equally amazing values. These products never disappoint ❤️

Simple and pretty

I love this top. I fit in both the XS and the S, I get XS for more compression. It is really high quality material. I have 5 of her yoga tops already now as well as long sleeves and bells. I will continue to shop from her!

So comfortable!

I love this top it matches everything! I was worried about buying white but if I ever get it dirty I’ll just dye it a different color (since it’s a natural fabric it’s pretty easy to do). It’s super soft and I’ve personally found sizing up works best for my tall frame.

experimenting with sizing

I love that I have experimented with the sizing of things.. I bought this top in 2x versus the L or 1x in the others. it fits perfect for casual living where as I wear my L or 1x for practice time <3

Love my top!

The fabric seems thick and heavy duty! It provides a lot of support(I don’t wear a bra). I can’t wait to try the other products!
