All The Flowers Drop
In late July I am deeply appreciating all the flowers. My tiny backyard garden is bursting with daisies, hydrangea, echinacea, and let's be real, a good amount of weeds too! What makes a flower so beautiful is not just its velvety and delicate petals, brilliant colors, and heavenly scents. It's that these beloved blooms are only here for such a short while. To watch a flower from seed to blossom to its inevitable decay into some green leaves and stalk and finally its death in the fall is a lesson over and over again in impermanence, gratitude, and presence. We too won't live forever, though most days I forget that. Yet if we can be grateful for this very moment in life, no matter how painful or beautiful, it is the ultimate act of presence, power, and peace. To sit today with the flowers, fully knowing that next week they'll be gone, is allowing the Mother and the cosmos to flow through us, heal us, and remind us that our time here is short. Smell the flowers!

Ancestral Spirit Drop
My own very individual existence is a miracle. Within my being is millions of years of growth, evolution, and the light of the creator's love. May these symbols of ancient rituals remind me that I am sacred. I am one with the ancestors, the universe, and with love itself.

August Afternoon Drop
August is the afternoon of summer, the last warm and bright moments until I really can't deny there's a distinct change in the air. These days are still, peaceful, present. These days are sacred because they hold me in a moment in time that is so beautiful, pure, and fleeting. When I live my truth on this plane, in this existence, each moment is a treasure. I am so lucky to be here with you, breathing deeply.

August Indigo
We are moving into that time of year I love. When everything is still. The epic growth of spring and early summer have gone by, and now the plants, flowers, bugs, and air can just be. Exhale. There is this pleasant stillness in August, like things could stay this way forever, that the warmth and beauty could never die. Breathing deeply, I settle into the peace that is late summer. I savor the abundance and warmth while it's here. I play in the field and woods with my children and dog, knowing it won't last. All is sweet, all is beautiful.

Back To Earth Drop
At the middle of the summer I feel and breathe everything a little more deeply. My bare feet touch the ground and I remember I'm made of the earth. I delight in the flowers and plants at their peaks, and feel myself blooming alongside them. The earth and I are one and the same beating heart, celebrating existence in this moment with each breath.
