Please note that Purusha People clothing is handmade by our skilled artisans in Los Angeles, and our unique process allows for subtle differences in each piece. Forest fiber tencel, garment dye, and screen printing require special processes that are unlike other brands. Please enjoy your clothing as the special item it is, and celebrate its rarity!
We accept returns and exchanges up to 14 days from the item delivery date. Clothing must be unworn, unwashed, unscented, pet-hair free, and in new condition.
Exchanges for store credit are free. You can get store credit and save it for later, or shop instantly. If you opt for store credit for later, you’ll receive a gift card as soon as your return item is in transit.
Refunds are subject to a $15 handling fee to cover the return shipping label and warehouse fees. Refunds are credited via the same method you paid within 5 business days of receiving. Shipping is nonrefundable.
Underwear is only eligible for returns if the item has not been tried on. Please try underwear on over your existing underwear if you'd like the option to return.

We're a small, family owned business dedicated to honoring the planet and her people by producing in the USA with only sustainable materials. We produce clothing in small batches with limited inventory to reduce waste, employ independent women artists and creatives, and vow to be as transparent as possible in all our processes.
We strongly believe plastics and forever chemicals that coat polyesters and nylons for wrinkle and stain resistance do not belong on our bodies, and are harming us in ways unseen at the moment. Our clothing is made from 92% plant-based materials- Lenzing certified lyocell tencel and 8% spandex. Spring of 2025 we will be phasing in a plant-based spandex!
Our main line is made from Lenzing certified tencel lyocell. We call it forest fiber, and it is a tree pulp fiber grown specifically on sustainable tree farms. Our forest fiber is vastly different from traditional bamboo, viscose, or rayon because it only requires one organic and non-toxic compound in a closed loop (never dumped, always reused), called NMMO (google it!) to process it, and it is guaranteed to not be harvested from old growth trees.
We are so proud to say Purusha clothing is made from start to finish in Los Angeles, CA. We’re knit, cut, and sewn in small family owned shops, dyed in a responsible dye house dedicated to low impact dyes, and screen printed in a clean and safe print shop with water-based ink. All people are paid at least minimum wage ($18/hr) and we abide by the stringent workplace and environmental laws of California.

I love this top! It honestly is very supportive, more so than a lot of my bras, and the shape is flattering. I need more of these high neck bra tops!!! The better coverage makes me wear it more often and is more versatile.

Love!!!! I've got this top w/ the matching pants I feel comfy and put together I'm not a huge crop fan but I also wear this around the house, as a bra, under my T shirt/hoodies, breastfeeding, on my runs.

I've been SO wanting to try one of these higher necked tops for yoga, and goodness do I LOVE it! I feel so secure in all my inversion poses, downward dogs, and handstands to boot. The fabric is so soft, snug but stretchy, and the color is fantastic, as always. I love all of Haley's clothes, and am trying to transition all my cozy/athleisure clothes to Purusha People! 100/10 would recommend!

I’m a fitness instructor and literally live in workout clothes. I’ve spent the past two years slowly cycling out my plastic fitness wear and replacing it with naturally made products and PP has become a staple. I love how comfortable it all is and I always receive compliments from clients. My only complaint is that my size sells out quickly but I know that’s because everything is made in small batches so it’s for good reason, I just have to commit to the styles I love faster.

I love these bra tops with higher necks! they're super comfy and I feel fully covered. plus the little moon is very cute and the colour is beautiful.
I can also add another purusha top underneath (usually the strappy bra top) and together they give me enough support to go for a run, which is great because I hate wearing a normal sports bra.
